Minn. VMA president sees backlogs starting to shrink


Veterinary clinics throughout the US restricted services to emergency-only care early in the COVID-19 pandemic, in part to conserve personal protective equipment, and ongoing disease prevention measures have delayed their ability to get back up to pre-pandemic schedules. Veterinarians and clinic employees are as frustrated by the delays as their clients, but veterinarian Connie Sillerud, president of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, says backlogs should shrink within the coming six months.
