Dog's osteoarthritis manageable with combination therapy


Canine osteoarthritis can be managed with a combination of therapies including veterinary anti-inflammatory drugs and supplements, laser therapy, acupuncture, physical rehabilitation and appropriate activities, writes veterinarian Lee Pickett. "Walking, swimming and other low-impact exercise are just as effective as high-impact exercises, such as running and jumping," Dr. Pickett writes.
