Join AAG on Aug. 11 for a free day-long virtual colloquium, "Emerging Location-based Services and Technologies, GeoSurveillance and Social Justice," organized by Katina Michael of the School for the Future of Innovation in Society and School of Computing, Informatics and Decision Systems Engineering at Arizona State University. The day will bring together educators, ethicists, and people working in many sectors to discuss the interactions and impacts of geolocation, surveillance, bioinformatics, and "smart city" technologies, on privacy and social equity.
