Stabilization to begin on failed Mich. dam


A task force has said stabilization work will begin in a few weeks on central Michigan's Sanford Dam. Planned work on the dam, which failed in May of last year, includes ridding the structure of its six current spillways and blocking water that now flows through an embankment.
