Large academic medical center adopts AI-driven platform for colon cancer diagnosis

The Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center and Comprehensive Cancer Center are the first academic medical centers in the US to adopt GI Genius, an FDA-approved computer-aided colon polyp detection system. It uses deep learning and real-time data to provide a view of the entire colon, which helps physicians more quickly and more accurately spot lesions that could require treatment.
