The experimental PET radiotracer F-18 BMS986192 was able to predict whether patients with metastatic melanoma would respond to immune checkpoint inhibitors in weeks, instead of months with standard imaging, researchers wrote in The Journal of Nuclear Medicine. Data showed the highest tracer uptake was in the spleen, bone marrow, kidneys and liver.
