Permian frack spread count points to recovering activity


The frack spread count in the Permian Basin was up 5% month over month in December, pointing to increased well completions activity, according to anaylysts at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. "Contrary to typical seasonal norms, U.S. frac spread count posted healthy month on month improvement during the month of December, driven near entirely by continued strength in the Permian," said TPH analyst Taylor Zurcher.
