IEA: Oil prices buoyed by international shortages


The International Energy Agency said that demand for oil is rising due to crude shortages in Asia and Europe, giving oil prices a lift. "There is some unseasonably high demand for fuel oil" across the globe due to the reduced supply of natural gas and liquified natural gas, said the IEA.
