Diabetes, poor sleep may increase odds of early death


A study in the Journal of Sleep Research found that people who have diabetes and poor sleep are 87% more likely to die within 9 years than those who don't have diabetes or sleep issues, and those who had poor sleep but not diabetes were 11% more likely to die during that period. Researchers studied data from nearly 500,000 middle-aged adults in the UK Biobank Study.
