FDA authorizes Pfizer booster shots for ages 12 to 15


Children ages 12 to 15 are now eligible to receive COVID-19 Pfizer and BioNTech booster shots, the Food and Drug Administration announced today after reviewing Israeli data on children who received a Pfizer booster. "We continue to believe that broad use of boosters is essential to preserving a high level of protection against this disease and reducing the rate of hospitalizations," Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said.
