CRISPR used for antibody-based diagnostics


A study published in the journal Molecular Cell describes novel technology using CRISPR-Cas9 that can be used to identify the presence of antibodies in blood samples. "We have demonstrated multiplexed peptide library self-assembly using a CRISPR-based system, making rapid custom protein studies feasible in any laboratory with access to common molecular biology reagents," the study authors write.
