Canada to drop hotel quarantine for vaccinated citizens


Canada plans to begin relaxing its travel rules by dropping a mandatory, expensive hotel quarantine for citizens, permanent residents and essential workers who have been vaccinated. The government said incoming travelers who are vaccinated will still have to provide negative results from COVID-19 tests taken before departure and after arrival but can quarantine at home until the second test result arrives.
