The expected impact of $125B in federal procurement funds


The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act will provide about $125 billion for federal procurement, including provisions that could encourage increased use of public-private partnerships in federally funded construction projects. The legislation also creates a Commerce Department agency to assist disadvantaged business enterprises in seeking contracts, grants and capital, and it will help fund the use of advanced digital construction management systems.
