Fish breeding site in Antarctica likely world's biggest


A massive breeding ground for icefish has been found in the Weddell Sea in Antarctica and is likely the largest fish breeding ground on Earth, according to findings detailed in Current Biology. The breeding ground under the ice is home to 60 million fish and the nests cover an area similar to the size of Malta, researchers say.
