Albertsons finds success with technology, innovation


The transition that began at Albertsons after Vivek Sankaran became CEO in 2019 has helped it power through the pandemic so far, and the grocer has continued rolling out technological and operational improvements. These "transformational" moves, which include partnerships with Adobe and Google and the launch of 1,200 additional Own Brand products in 2020, have helped enhance Albertsons' digital capabilities while also boosting performance at its brick-and-mortar stores.
