Trader Joe's founder tells grocer's story in new book


The story of Joe Coulombe and the founding of the Trader Joe's grocery chain is showcased in a new autobiography compiled by Coulombe before he died last year at age 89. "Becoming Trader Joe," published by HarperCollins, is being released Tuesday and was completed by co-author Patty Civalleri and Leroy Watson, an original Trader Joe's employee and friend of Coulombe.
