CEO of DSW parent: Footwear's future is experiential


DSW parent Designer Brands has made changes since the start of the pandemic to cater to consumers' growing demand for casual styles, CEO Roger Rawlins said. Plans for the future include increasing in-store experiences and brand partnerships, further utilizing banners The Shoe Company and Camuto Group, which it acquired in 2018, and continuing to expand its focus on athleisure and athletic footwear, Rawlins said.
