Foot Locker spends $1.1B on athletic, streetwear brands

Foot Locker will acquire Los Angeles-based athletic retailer WSS for $750 million and Japan-based sneaker and streetwear brand Atmos in a $360 million deal, the company said Monday. The deals are slated to close in the third quarter and the company expects to build a bigger brick-and-mortar retail presence for the brands, both of which will continue to operate under their existing banners.
