Why supply chain isn't dollar stores' biggest problem


Increased labor costs and inflation are the biggest threats to dollar stores in the US, even more than their reliance on cheaper goods imported from Asia, says Harvard Business School professor Willy Shih. "Their business model requires a low-cost operation, so they're going to feel that inflationary pressure," Shih says.
