Financial literacy lessons are compulsory for the country's secondary-school students, but educators say it increasingly is important to teach such lessons at an earlier age. United Arab Emirates seeks to hire more Emirati teachers
Officials in the United Arab Emirates are focused on recruiting and training more Emirati teachers. In the 2011-12 school year, there were 30 Emirati teachers and 68 Emirati serving in administrative roles. Tokyo to open English-only site for students
As Tokyo prepares to host the 2020 Olympic Games, officials have announced plans to open an "English village," where students in primary through secondary school can communicate entirely in English.
