Roadshow offers window on South Australia to US advisors

More than a dozen top tourism operators are coming to North American Aug. 18 to 23 for a South Australian Tourism Commission trade roadshow designed to share the state's WOW factor -- wildlife, Outback, and wine -- with travel advisors and wholesalers. They say they're encouraging travelers as opposed to tourists.

American expands Five Star Service to 4 more airports
American Airlines is rolling out its premium Five Star Service at Texas' Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Nashville International Airport, New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport and Georgia's Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Passengers using the service receive perks including priority check-in, expedited security screening, an escort to their gate and access to the Admirals Club.

Edmonton entertainment district welcomes JW Marriott
A 346-room JW Marriott has opened in the ICE sports and entertainment district of Edmonton, Alberta. Restaurants, a fitness center and 22,000 square feet of meeting and event space are among the features.
