In the Caribbean, all-inclusive remains popular
When it comes to the Caribbean region, the all-inclusive package continues to be very popular, industry insiders say. "I'm a true fan of the model," said Lionstone Development's Diego Lowenstein. "Particularly for this region, everything comes together. You can capture the full revenue cycle of the guest, drive more expensive labor resources and see it come to the bottom line." Destination of the Week
Four river cruise lines are sailing to Transylvania
Lonely Planet has named Transylvania one of the top regions to visit in 2016, and several river cruise lines are ready to bring guests to the destination, offering excursions to the city of Brasov and nearby 14th century Bran Castle. Located in central Romania, Transylvania is known for its moody, dramatic mountains and castles and, of course, for author Bram Stoker's fictional Count Dracula, inspired by the 15th century Romanian prince Vlad the Impaler. If your clients want to add a bit of vampire lore to their European river cruise in 2016, several lines are offering itineraries that include Transylvania.

Your employees need leadership, not just advice
Leaders should stop giving so much advice, writes Mary Jo Asmus. Giving advice might make you feel smart, but it actually stifles the smart, creative, capable people you've hired. "So instead of giving advice, have a great vision and mission, delegate fully, coach your team, and get out of the way," Asmus suggests. Aspire-CS.com (12/16)
