Expert: E-commerce, "grocerants" key for snack makers

Survey: European shoppers want produce packaged in paper
Some 68% of consumers in seven European countries said they prefer their produce and other food items to be packaged in paper instead of plastic, according to a survey by YouGov. "The findings show that paper and corrugated remain the most popular form of packaging across major countries in Europe," said Angelika Christ of the European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers.
