Hilton Worldwide announced that this year will see the launch of tech-based services that will enhance the guest experience at its hotels. These include giving loyalty-program members the ability to check in, select rooms and request amenities through their mobile devices. Hilton plans to roll out technology that would allow the use of smartphones to unlock hotel doors next year and to enable digital checkout by the end of 2016.
