Philips, Vidyo team up to expand telehealth to specialties
Philips Electronics says a partnership with videoconferencing firm Vidyo will enhance its Visicu eICU technology by adding real-time, two-way audio and video capabilities. The company said the integration of Vidyo's Adaptive Video Layering Technology will enable doctors to offer secure, remote consultations using an array of mobile devices.
