EPA extends comment period on air-quality standards for oil refineries
The Environmental Protection Agency is extending by 60 days the public comment period on its proposed standards for regulating oil refinery air emissions. "This will ensure that the public has sufficient time to review and comment on all of the information available, including the proposed rule and other materials in the docket," the agency said in a Federal Register notice that was expected to be published Aug. 15. Comments will be accepted until Oct. 28.
