Judge blocks mandatory drug testing for state workers in Fla.
A federal judge ruled Thursday that an executive order to establish mandatory drug tests for Florida state workers is unconstitutional. The judge said the order violated search-and-seizure protections, and that Gov. Rick Scott had not demonstrated sufficient evidence of a drug-use problem at state agencies. Scott said in a statement that the decision will be appealed.
