Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx is set to launch a bus tour dubbed "Invest in America, Commit to the Future" to highlight the importance of investing in transportation in the U.S. and to urge Congress to pass new funding for road and transit projects. Foxx will visit eight states to "make the case for a robust multiyear federal investment as proposed by the Obama Administration that will address the current shortfall and meet the country's future needs, all without adding to the deficit," according to the Department of Transportation.
