The CMS Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation will use seven states to pilot the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative. The agency will tap some 75 primary care practices in every market to help assess whether comprehensive primary care services along with health IT meaningful use, data analytics and payment reform can improve health and lower costs.
