Lack of siblings may increase risk of childhood obesity
Data on 12,700 European children ages 2 to 9 revealed that those without brothers or sisters were about 50% more likely to be overweight than were those with siblings, even after controlling for other factors. The findings were published on the website of Nutrition and Diabetes.
