Carry-on liquids banned on nonstop U.S. flights to Russia
A warning by the Department of Homeland Security about explosives potentially being smuggled aboard Russia-bound flights inside toothpaste tubes has prompted the Transportation Security Administration to temporarily ban all liquids from carry-on luggage on direct flights to Russia at least for the duration of the Olympic games in Sochi, Russia. The ban includes all carry-on liquids, aerosols or gels.
