Cabarrus County, North Carolina, in talks for SeaLife aquarium
Concord Mills in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, could eventually become home to a 30,000-square-foot aquarium. The project is expected to cost $10 million. Cabarrus County commissioners recently approved a grant of up to $238,000 to Simon Properties, which owns Concord Mills. Simon would use the grant to build an aquarium facility for Merlin Entertainments Group, which operates aquariums.
