McDonald's near Dallas gets a jump on posting nutrition data
A McDonald's restaurant near Dallas has interactive touch screens displaying nutrition data for standard menu items. Owner Jonathan Chan says he has not seen a huge change in customer ordering habits, and "if they want a certain item, they're going to get it." The government still is deciding how to implement 2010 Affordable Health Care Act regulations that require restaurant chains with more than 20 outlets to post nutrition information, but Chan said he wanted to take the lead and be transparent.
