  • EPA halts green-chemistry grant process
    The Environmental Protection Agency has halted the application process for a $20 million grant program intended to promote green chemistry, and the future of the program is uncertain, according to this article. The program would be "one of the most significant sources of dedicated support for green chemistry, so it is a blow to the community that the call for applications was canceled without explanation," said Yale University chemist Evan Beach.
