  • U.S.-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement takes effect on May 15
    On April 15, President Obama announced that the U.S.-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement would enter into force on May 15. NCA has been supportive of the trade agreement, which will gradually decrease Colombian tariffs on confectionery, allowing U.S. confectionery companies to export to Colombia on a more even playing field.
