  • Live roulette goes mobile with Smart Gaming app
    The London-based Smart Gaming Group has released a live roulette smart mobile app that offers three different interactive modes, is free to download and is designed for both iOS and Android operating systems. The company -- which also runs the U.K.'s interactive gambling TV channel Smart Live Casino -- says the roulette app is "the first of its kind."   • OMI's new mobile games given green light by AGCC
    OMI Gaming, a Swedish online gaming software company, has received initial approval from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission for its new slot games Jungle Fruit, Benny the Panda and Princess Fortune.   • Optimism, persistence are key for Betfred co-founder
    Fred Done entered the bookmaking business as a bet collector at age 14. More than 50 years later, the co-founder of Betfred boasts a long list of victories -- including his recent purchase of the Tote, the British government's racetrack betting monopoly. "I'm good at spotting opportunities and I'm good at finding the right people," Done said of his success.   • One-fifth of all video-game players are mobile gamers
    Of the estimated 211.5 million Americans who play video games, 22% of them favor mobile gaming, data from market research company NPD Group show. That is up from 13% in 2011, and it makes mobile gamers the largest segment among all gamers.
