  • Diageo allows consumers to deliver a message on a bottle
    Diageo is employing Evrything technology to turn bottles of spirits into talking brands. Pioneered in Brazil in August, consumers can attach personalized messages to a bottle via a QR code, allowing them to give a message and a Diageo bottle in one gift.   • Doctor supports petition for BPA ban in Canada
    Although Health Canada formally declared bisphenol A a toxic substance, it is still present in many products, and the Toronto-based group Environmental Defence started a petition urging the government to pass measures that would ban BPA in food and beverage containers. Krista Moyer, a naturopathic doctor, supports the petition and encourages her patients to minimize their exposure to BPA. "I suggest no plastic whatsoever; drink from glass water bottles ...
