Domino's Pizza is in global growth mode but, unlike rivals including Pizza Hut, it isn't tailoring its menus or business model to cater to local tastes, this story says. The takeout and delivery pizza chain has flourished in India, where it has grown to 440 stores, but industry experts say it may be tougher to make it big in China and other markets without tweaking the concept. - AOL looks to sell marketers on ratings points
AOL is hoping that its partnership with Nielsen to sell online ads based on a television-like gross ratings points system will give it a badly needed edge. - Genachowski chides those bucking FCC political ad rules
Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski laid down the gauntlet regarding new mandates to put political spending figures online, calling out the stations resisting the effort at the National Association of Broadcasters convention.
