  • How long will it take to switch all of the EU to FTTH?
Unless greater steps are taken to expand fiber broadband, the connectivity option won't be available to everyone in the European Union nations for 92 years, according to a forecast from Ventura Team. "The current switchover is happening at a snail's pace and it could seriously obstruct economic growth across Europe for a long time to come," states the consultancy in a release. According to the FTTH Council Europe, about 5 million of the 210 million homes in the EU's 27 countries have a fiber broadband connection.
