    The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery has found pieces of glass that could indicate Amelia Earhart crash-landed on a southwest Pacific island. The group uncovered remnants of a glass jar that may have contained freckle cream on Nikumaroro Island.   • Nonprofit donates funds to operate police helicopter in Calif.
    A $10,000 donation from a nonprofit group will help the Oakland Police Department in California operate a helicopter. The donation from Fueling California will allow the helicopter to fly an additional 80 hours this year.
