    The number of people with health insurance is trending upward, while the number of people under employment-based coverage is trending down, according to an analysis by the Employee Benefit Research Institute. The coverage rate for non-elderly Americans increased by about a half-percentage point in 2011 to 82%, but employment-based coverage among the same age group was down to 58.4%, compared with 69.3% in 2000.     A state Senate committee in New Jersey advanced a bill on Monday for a state-run health insurance exchange. Republican Gov.
