NRC: N.H. plant-relicensing hearings won't include concrete issues
Concrete-degradation concerns at NextEra Energy's Seabrook nuclear plant in New Hampshire won't be considered in license-extension hearings, according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Amano seeks foreign aid in decommissioning of Fukushima plant
Other countries should be involved in decommissioning the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant in Japan, said Yukiya Amano, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency. IAEA experts will visit Japan's Fukushima Prefecture to assist in decontamination activities. Amano also proposed that IAEA create an internal group to focus on decommissioning. Fukushima Daiichi plant unaffected by recent quake, TEPCO says
