  • CEA tracks decrease in consumer confidence
    Consumer confidence in the overall economy and technology sector in January 2013 is following a similar pattern to previous years showing a post-holiday season decline, according to the Consumer Electronics Association. The CEA’s Index of Consumer Expectations views on the economy is at 168.0 points in January 2013, down 3.0 points from December 2012 and down 9.3 points from January 2012, with the technology sectors coming in at 83.0, down five points from a year earlier.     Leatrice (Lee) Eiseman, IHA’s color expert and executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, will present the forecasted palettes for 2014 in her annual color trend seminar at noon on Monday, March 4. “Style, Substance and Color: Major Trends and Directions” will examine the multiplicity of resources that inform color and design directions.
