  • Mobile shopping gains traction on Thanksgiving Day
    Mobile shopping may be about to become a Thanksgiving Day fixture, with 28% of smartphone and tablet owners saying they'll turn to their devices for that purpose during the holiday, according to a survey commissioned by Digitas.     Mozilla has developed a series of new icons as a way of easily cluing users to website privacy-related issues. Color-coded circles with arrows and dollar signs in the middle tell users whether or not their personal information is being sold (red circle) or not (green circle), and badge shapes indicate the divulging of information to law enforcement officials without permission.
