  • AT&T lets developers into voice-recognition APIs
    AT&T on Monday followed up on an April promise by opening up the application programming interfaces for its Watson speech-recognition software to developers, Senior Executive Vice President John Donovan revealed in a blog post, adding that app writers would have access to seven language libraries for development. The carrier's technology will compete with Nuance Communications' voice-recognition product.
