    Itochu Corp. will acquire Dole Foods' fresh produce and packaged foods business units for an undisclosed amount, in a deal expected to close once the companies win regulatory approvals, the companies said.     Sales of turkey and duck have grown 6.5% over this past year, according to research from Mintel. Overall, 38% report they are eating poultry more often. Mintel attributes the rise in turkey consumption on the popularity of Heritage turkeys.     A new iPhone app turns a smartphone into a lab to pinpoint foods that may cause allergic reactions. The iTube from Aydogan Ozcan takes a picture of the food, then uses a tiny test tube to analyze the chemical makeup of the food. The test takes about 20 minutes, but some are not convinced.
