  • Sources: Nordstrom set to announce 1st Canada stores
    Seattle-based upscale retail department store chain Nordstrom will reportedly announce plans on Thursday to open its first stores in Canada, by converting at least three former Sears stores in Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa. “Nordstrom has quite a few Canadian customers in the Pacific Northeast.     Best Buy will put up to 800 retail outlets in the vacant storefronts of strip malls over the next three years to better compete with RadioShack under a new strategy for the big-box retail chain.
