  • Supersonic X-54 jet will be on display at air show
    A successor to the Concorde will be unveiled at the Farnborough International Airshow next month. The supersonic jet could fly from London to Sydney in four hours, a trip that now takes more than 23 hours.   • Air show will feature displays of fighter aircraft
    The Farnborough International Airshow will display two fighters built by Sukhoi. Two of the Russian Knights' Su-27 airplanes will be on display next month at the U.K. air show.   • Analyst upgrades Boeing ahead of air show: Analyst Yair Reiner from Oppenheimer & Co. upgraded Boeing ahead of the Farnborough International Airshow in July. Reiner upgraded Boeing stock from "Perform" to "Outperform" and set a $90 price target.   • Organizers predict rebound for air show
    Organizers of the Farnborough International Airshow predict a rebound for the U.K. air show, which is sold out. "The last two years have seen a very difficult economic environment, but 2012 is looking like it will be a really great show," said Farnborough International CEO Shaun Ormrod.
