Google is said to be among the companies DISH Network has talked with to leverage the satellite provider's 40 MHz cache of wireless spectrum it wants to use to provide a national wireless service, according to The Wall Street Journal. • Survey: Consumers prefer to have home automation installed by a pro
Contrary to some prevailing beliefs, a large number of consumers want a professional to install their home automation system, with security the leading factor in persuading a homeowner to build such a network, according to a study from the Consumer Electronics Association. The CEA found 67% of respondents prefer that a professional do the job, compared with 18% who would do it themselves.
