  • Ill. riverfront to get $150M mixed-use makeover
The old Case New Holland industrial site in East Moline, Ill., will get a new look and plenty of new uses. J. Architect Helmut Jahn will design a 120-room Hyatt Place and a 132-room Hyatt House, and the complex will also include restaurants, shops, a recreational center, and a medical facility. "This will be the largest single multiuse development in the state of Illinois," said Beitler. Construction on infrastructure will start in April, and the project should take about 18 to 20 months.
